The TACUA Board looks forward to seeing you at the 2012 Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas. We are hoping to provide exciting continuing education and rewarding networking opportunities. In addition, we will be voting on changes to our Constitution and Bylaws. Plan to join us in Austin on February 20th!

2012 Annual Directors Meeting – February 20th in Austin, Texas

As most of you are aware from our conference in League City last year, we decided not to have a TACUA conference in spring 2012 in order to support the ACUA conference in September 2012 in San Antonio. However, we are having a Directors’ Annual Meeting. Our TACUA Annual Meeting will be Monday, February 20, 2012, at the AT&T Conference Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin. We were able to secure a hotel rate at the AT&T Conference Center of $108 for the night of February 19 for those of you who will need or want to stay overnight. Each director is responsible for travel and hotel. There is no charge for the annual meeting as TACUA is providing lunch and other costs associated with the meeting. We plan for the meeting and continuing education to last from 10 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. CPE certificates will be provided.

At the annual meeting, we will review TACUA business matters as well as discuss and vote on the proposed changes to the TACUA Bylaws and Constitution. The Bylaws Committee of Cathy Smock, Mike Vandervort, and Gina Oglesbee met and drafted the proposed changes which have been approved by the TACUA board. You will find the proposed changes on the attached document.

We will also vote on one new board member as Bill Peters will roll off the board after having served a 5 year term and done an outstanding job as our TACUA treasurer for many of those years. We are accepting nominations for a new board member.
